About me
Thank you for considering me for such an important time in your lives. I have dedicated myself to the greater Jewish community for well over 30 years, beginning in my youth as a teen leader in Orange County, California, to experiences across the United States and parts of Europe and Israel.
I received Rabbinic S’micah (Ordination) from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) where I also earned my Master of Arts degree in Jewish Education. I later received the prestigious title of Reform Jewish Educator (RJE) for my subsequent years of teaching excellence and administrative experience.
I am known for my warm, caring and joyous presence and the passion that I put into my professional and personal endeavors.
I enjoy getting to know my couples and all the families I serve, taking the time to get to know each student, couple, and parent as we prepare for their simcha or other life-cycle event.
It is important that each event is not only unique, but also that it is personal, conveying the deep relationship that exists between myself and every family that lets me into their lives.
I live in the Greater New York City area with my wife and children. When not serving the community, my interests include quality time with my family, travelling, swimming, the beach, concerts, theater, movies (especially all things Star Wars), reading, eating sushi, or rooting on one of my UCLA Bruins sports teams.

WEDDINGS
My goal is to get know you both so well that we feel like family by the time we stand together beneath your wedding chupah.
I highly recommend all my couples take the Prepare and Enrich Premarital survey ($35 payable online) prior to our first meeting as a great conversation starter. In our 3-4 meetings I hope to get to know you well enough that you know you have a rabbi for life and any questions you may have down the road.
$1800-2000
The $1000 deposit holds your date and covers all meetings in person or via phone and/or skype. The balance payment covers officiating your beautiful ceremony. (Additional fees may be requested to cover travel expenses to/within NYC, Westchester, Rockland County and New Jersey locations.) This should be submitted at or prior to our final meeting.
BABY NAMINGS
As families grow, it is our sacred obligation to bless every child as they enter our lives. A custom baby naming and celebration of your child's Hebrew name as we welcome him/her into the B'rit - Covenant of the Jewish people, is the perfect way to continue one of our most meaningful traditions.
$500-750
Cost depends on the location of the event. It includes the naming ceremony, a consultation meeting to review and select the Hebrew name(s) of your choice, and a discussion of your vision for your ceremony.
TUTORING
One of my most popular services available, private educational lessons, has made a significant difference for many families. I provide this service with the highest level of excellence. Every Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Hebrew School and Confirmation student is different. Who better to understand that than a Rabbi-Educator who has spent decades teaching and enriching the lives of thousands of Jewish children, teens, and adults.
$65 per half hour online
$100 per half hour in your home
Each 30-minute session in your home or online provides your student with the best tutoring and support you can get. Pick a time slot that is convenient to your schedule and watch your child thrive in preparation for their big day.
